YFN45 Magnetic material Nickel Iron
YFN-45 (45%Ni-Fe)
ApplicationsStepping motors for watches, transformer cores, automobile instruments, relay cores, various magnetic pole pieces, etc.
PB permalloy with high saturation magnetic flux density and high magnetic permeability.
The cost of YFN-45 is lower than 48Ni and 50Ni, which belong to the same PB permalloy group, because it has lower amount of nickel.
It is well-suited for applications that require a large magnetic flux density, such as yoke parts for watches.
Since it has high magnetic permeability and can block magnetic fields, it is also suitable as a shield material for measuring equipment that is easily affected by external magnetism.
