Copper alloy containing zinc with conductivity and cost performance superior to phosphor bronze.
AD-442 is a copper alloy containing zinc with dramatically improved strength but the same great workability as brass.
Its strength is equal to that of phosphor bronze (C5210), but its conductivity is approximately twice as good (25% IACS), and it has better cost performance.
This copper alloy is the perfect substitute for phosphor bronze.
It is registered as C44250 by the CDA (United States).
