Our original alloy enables 30% less warpage at substrate bonding compared to pure copper.

Since we have a progressive press factory connected to our wrought copper and copper alloy factory (Iwata), we are able to implement integrated production starting from the casting level, which makes it possible to achieve both great cost performance and quality.
We are committed to improving the ease of assembly for our customers using our proprietary progressive warping and boss fabrication technology.
(Main material: DSC-3N heat-resistant copper alloy for heat sinks, plate thickness range: 2 to 5 mm)
Also in Taiwan, we have our own stamping plant (DOWALI PRECISION). This makes it possible to use MINCHALI METAL’s DSC-3N (OEM) material for local production in Taiwan.

Press technology: Warpage fabrication

· Initial warpage is achievable by leveraging the warp behavior after soldering the metal/ceramic substrates.
· Initial warpage (X direction and Y direction) is available upon request.
· High shape reproducibility is achieved using progressive dies.

·DSC-3N is able to reduce the initial amount of warpage over that of oxygen-free copper.
· The warping behavior after soldering is very stable, which improves productivity and quality consistency.

Stamping technology: Counterbore and boss fabrication

· Initial warp: We can meet a variety of your needs to cancel negative warp deformation. (R constant warp, trapezoidal warp, V-shaped warp, double peak warp, etc.)
· Counterbore processing: Lower pricing than that of machining achieved using integrated press production within progressive dies.
· Boss formation: We can achieve uniform thickness in the solder while supporting the substrates.

 

Warpage in the order of 1mm is also possible. Top: Heat dissipation surface, Bottom: Substrate bonding surface
