ApplicationsTerminals for connector applications, switches, relays, IC lead frames, etc.
Copper alloy with superior strength, workability, and stress relaxation resistance.
Well suited for female terminals that require spring reliability.
NB-109 is DOWA’s main copper alloy with high 0.2% proof stress in the TD direction required for springs, and excellent bending workability and stress relaxation resistance.
Since it contains tin and nickel, it has high recyclability of tin-plated and nickel-plated products.
Due to its optimized processing, it has a superior balance of strength, bending workability, and stress relaxation resistance, making it well suited for small automobile female terminals.
We sell over 10,000 tons of this product worldwide every year, mainly for female terminals of wire harnesses.
It is registered as C19025 by the CDA (United States) and can be procured locally from Wieland in the United States and Kemper in Germany.
