Copper alloy for connectors with superior strength, stress relaxation resistance,
and bending workability made possible using DOWA’s texture control technology.

Made possible using DOWA’s world-first texture control (TC) process, NB-164 is a Corson copper alloy that simultaneously delivers the high strength, stress relaxation resistance, and good bending workability necessary for small connectors.
It is the first high-strength alloy that enables notch bending with the axis parallel to the transverse direction (TD). It is ideal for box bending of small terminals.
It is registered as C64745 by the CDA (United States).

Bending workability (W bend, bending width=10mm)

NB164 is the first high-strength alloy that enables notch bending with the axis parallel to the transverse direction (TD).
Therefore, it can be processed into box-shaped female terminals with high dimensional accuracy.
